Iceland is known as the "Land of Fire and Ice" and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. On a short visit you can maximize your time visiting Blue Lagoon and relaxing after a long flight, followed by a day driving the Golden Circle which includes Þingvellir National Park, Geysir, and the Gullfoss waterfall. You can then spend two days visiting the south coast of Jökulsárlón glacier lagoon, the Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss waterfalls, and the Reynisdrangar sea stacks. You can spend a day visiting Reykjavik on your way back to the airport and learn more of the viking history of the island.

When is the best time to visit Iceland?
We get this question a lot - and the answer is "it depends!" For those interested in having long days, nicer weather, with tons of activities - June to August would be best for you. If having a chance of seeing the northern lights, with a mix of activities, and mild weather - Fall or Spring will be best for you.
How much should I budget for a vacation to Iceland?
Flights to Iceland can be relatively inexpensive. However, once there - food, accommodations, and activities can quickly add up. For 5 nights with a rental car, a blend of activities (free sights and activities with fees), accommodations, and food - you should anticipate $2,500-$3,500 per person, depending on the season plus the cost of airfare.

We often get asked how we build a custom Iceland vacation package. It all starts with a phone call. During that call we get to know you and those you'll be traveling with. We ask a LOT of questions - about what you want to see, where you've been before, your favorite foods, if you enjoy doing, seeing, walking, etc. Then we head back to our desk and craft a proposal that includes options we think match the vacation you've been dreaming about. There will be some back and forth making adjustments and tweaking things until you say it's perfect! From there, we'll secure your reservations and make sure it all comes together.
