Day 1: Paris

Your cruise begins in Paris, the City of Lights. On your first day, you'll have a chance to explore the city at your own pace. You can visit the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, or any of the other many world-famous attractions that Paris has to offer. Getting a private tour of the Louvre allows you to see the highlights, learn details otherwise untold, and maximize your visit experience.

Day 2: Paris

On your second day in Paris, you'll have a guided tour of the city's most iconic landmarks. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Palace of Versailles, the former royal residence of France. When visiting, prioritize going to the King's private apartments - you can see a few behind the scenes chambers, learn about some of the history that is lesser told, as well as see some of the reclaimed royal wares by the Friends of Versailles.

Day 3: Rouen

Your cruise continues to Rouen, the capital of the Normandy region. Rouen is a beautiful city with a rich history. You'll have a chance to visit the Rouen Cathedral, one of the finest examples of Gothic architecture in the world. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Joan of Arc Historical Center, which tells the story of the French heroine who was burned at the stake in Rouen in 1431.

Day 4: Giverny

On your fourth day, you'll visit the village of Giverny, where the famous Impressionist painter Claude Monet lived and worked. You'll have the opportunity to visit Monet's former home and gardens, which were the inspiration for many of his masterpieces. Upon your return to Paris you can visit Water Lilies at Musee de l'Orangerie - sitting on a bench in front of the incredible and massive paintings for a truly immersive experience.

Day 5: Honfleur

Your cruise continues to Honfleur, a charming port town on the Normandy coast. Honfleur is known for its picturesque harbor and its narrow, cobblestone streets. You'll have a chance to explore the town at your own pace or take a guided tour of the local attractions.

Day 6: Caen

On your sixth day, you'll visit the city of Caen, which played a key role in the D-Day invasion of Normandy. You'll have the opportunity to visit the Caen Memorial Museum, which tells the story of the D-Day invasion and the Battle of Normandy. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, where over 9,000 American soldiers are buried. Guides will offer the opportunity to bring some of the sacred sand home. We always send small glass vials to our clients to make sure they have a way to secure them on their journey home.

Day 7: Bayeux

On your seventh day, you'll visit the town of Bayeux, which is home to the Bayeux Tapestry, a medieval embroidered cloth that tells the story of the Norman conquest of England in 1066. You'll also have the opportunity to visit the Bayeux Cathedral, which is one of the most important Romanesque cathedrals in France.
